Workshop Description:
This presentation tells the story of where the field has been, where we are, and where we are going regarding the promotion of listening comprehension skills in second/foreign language classrooms using actual concrete activities as the point of departure for this discussion.

Dr. John Taggart Clark is Associate Professor of linguistics in the Department of English at California State University, Sacramento. There, he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in general linguistics, English syntax, sociolinguistics, and English phonology, with a focus on the study of spoken language and the ways that spoken language may best be promoted in the second/foreign language classroom.

Pre-Registration
$10 for members and $15 for nonmembers

At the door:
$20 for members and $25 for nonmembers
